Who (and Where) are we?

smALL FLAGs began in 1987 as a retail store called "Other Lands" in downtown Salem, Oregon. In January, 1993, we closed that location after nearly five successful years, due to the demands of our Exhibit Schedule. We continued the mail order side of the business as we traveled, exhibiting at all sorts of ethnic festivals and teachers' conferences. Douglas County Celtic Highland Games, August 2000
From November 1996 until September 2000 we kept a local retail outlet in Mall 205 in southeast Portland, Oregon. In early September we opened a warehouse in Milwaukie, Oregon. December 2001 saw us open yet another location, this time in Clackamas, Oregon. In April of 2002, Other Lands was acquired by smALL FLAGs and closed all these locations to concentrate on our web-based business. June of 2004 found us consolidating our facilities and moving to Oregon City.

Closing the physical locations helped us to greatly streamline our product line as well as our procedures, and all in response to, and to better serve, you, our respected and valued customer. Thank you for these many years of support. We appreciate you.
